Aaliyah C. Burnett
The future of local track & field athletics looks mighty bright! Why? Because Aaliyah Burnett is a Manual HS Academy Junior, and daughter of PICTFC Coach Harvey Burnett. Aaliyah, a part of the club since it was founded, is a second year competitor in track & field athletics in 2018. Gifted with athleticism, Aaliyah will be using her skills gained in track and field athletics in other sports such as volleyball to help well round her future. Given her drive and desire to succeed. She is on par to be a force to be reckoned with in the near future both on and off the field.
In just a year, and a very limited number of competitive chances and opportunities, Aaliyah has nearly doubled her initial marks as both a long jumper and a sprinter and continues to improve at nearly every opportunity.
