PICTFC Member Jashawn Atkins Signs With Iowa Central CC Track & Field

Before the 2020 Indoor season and subsequent outdoor season was cancelled, Former Manual HS Sr. athlete, Jashawn Atkins, was ranked in the top 5 in Class 2A Long Jump and in the top 20 in Class 2A 60M. He managed to win the Big 12 Conference Indoor Championship in the LJ and was a dead heat .002 of a second 3rd place in the 60M having run a seasons best and jumped a near seasons best. ie: He was READY for future competition and the sky was the limit. that is until covid-19.

Although the season abruptly ended, Jashawn's pusuit of trak & field championship lore, did not end. He will be taking his talents to Junior College powerhouse Iowa Central CC in Fort Dodge, IA.

CONGRATULATIONS Jashawn. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for this highly dedicated athlete and eaqually as great young man.
